Fall at the waterfront is about to get brighter and a little more magical. From September 25 through November 2, Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, invites families to experience Fintastic Pumpkin Glow, a seasonal event that combines the wonder of underwater worlds with the charm of autumn’s favorite decoration: pumpkins.
Guests visiting during this limited-time event will discover the aquarium transformed with glowing gourds of all shapes and sizes. From bright pumpkins bobbing on the surface to intricately lit displays “sunken” among sharks, rays, and other aquatic life, this seasonal celebration offers a stunning mix of fall and under-the-sea charm.
Family Fun and Festive Activities
Beyond the glowing sights, visitors can tap into their creative side at the Paint-A-Pumpkin station, where kids and parents alike can paint a pumpkin to take home as a festive souvenir. Families can also enjoy the exclusive “Bones or No Bones” show, diving into the fascinating world of animal skeletons with real x-rays and biofacts—perfect for curious young scientists.

Adventure Aquarium, located just across the river from Philadelphia, is home to the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast, endangered African penguins, and even Nile hippos—the only ones on display at any U.S. aquarium.
