New Food Hall Delivery Company Comes to Newtown Square

Newtown Square is getting a new type of food hall.

Wonder is opening a new food hall in Newtown Square, at 3741 West Chester Pike, with a grand opening scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. The first 100 customers will receive an exclusive gift. A live performance by local musician Jake Rizzo will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wonder is a revolutionary food hall concept that allows customers to order from multiple restaurants — about 20 options from top chefs and establishments nationwide — in a single order. According to Patch of Marple Netown, the company collaborates with renowned chefs such as Bobby Flay, José Andrés, Nancy Silverton, and Marcus Samuelsson. It features popular eateries such as Tejas Barbeque, Maydan, Di Fara Pizza, and Fred's Meat & Bread.

What sets Wonder apart from traditional food halls is its quality control for every step of the process, from sourcing ingredients to delivery. Wonder offers delivery, pickup, and dine-in options. Customers can order from Wonder Newtown Square online.

The new Newtown Square Wonder location will be part of a broader expansion plan, with additional sites opening in Ridley Township and Middletown Township in October and November, respectively.

During its opening week, Wonder will donate $1 from each order to Philabundance, continuing its partnership through a roundup program to support food security in the Philadelphia area.
