Philly Music Fest (PMF) 2025 is celebrating its ninth annual event, expanding to nine nights across multiple venues in Philadelphia.
This year's lineup includes local headliner Dr. Dog, performing at Ardmore Music Hall on Oct. 13 and 14. These dates will mark the band's first shows following a recent performance at Citizens Bank Park. On both nights, Dr. Dog will be supported by Pat Finnerty & the Full Band.
Other notable acts include The Wonder Years, Matt Quinn, Greg Mendez, Catie Turner, Horrendous, Nazir Ebo, and Black Buttafly. Performances will be held at several venues, including Underground Arts, MilkBoy, Johnny Brenda's, Solar Myth, and The Fallser Club.
In addition to performances, the festival will host Inside Hustle. This free biannual event provides networking and music industry insights, with the next installment scheduled for Oct. 18 at REC Philly.
Tickets went on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 23, and are available for purchase on the Philly Music Fest website and the Ardmore Music Hall website.
"Dr. Dog playing Philly Music Fest is a nine-year dream come true. Each year, Dr. Dog is my first email, my first call," Philly Music Fest Producer and Founder Greg Seltzer said to The Patch of Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood. "The band always seemed receptive, but was either touring, recording, or taking a break. This year, the stars aligned, and we are so fortunate to have Dr. Dog playing two incredibly special shows in support of Philly Music Fest."
Founded by Greg and Jenn Seltzer, the PMF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local musicians and music education. It annually donates $100,000 to fund music education programs and maintains a strict policy of no corporate advertising or banners for the event.
