Shaboozey
Shaboozey's the Great American Road Show plays the Fillmore today, Thursday Sept. 25. The Virginia country rapper and songwriter's 2024 hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” from his album Where I'm Going, Isn't Where I've Been, has been streamed almost 1.5 billion times. Beyoncé featured him on “Spaghetti” and “Sweet Honey Bucklin'” in Cowboy Carter. Rapper Kevin Powers is the opener.
Mt. Joy
Mt. Joy returns to the Mann Center for two hometown shows on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27. The Philly-bred band has a new album called Hope We Have Fun.
Free at Noon at Word Cafe Live
On Friday, Sept. 26, the Free at Noon at Word Cafe Live will be the 1,000th in the series that began in 2005. Philly hometown heroes, the Hooters, which has celebrated its 45 years together, is performing.
Cautious Clay
Songwriter-producer Cautious Clay, who has written for Billie Eilish and John Mayer, will open his tour at the Foundry at the Fillmore on Saturday, Sept. 27. His latest work, The Hours: Morning, was partially inspired by his move to Philadelphia from New York.
Lorde
Lorde returns to South Philadelphia at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Following up on her last album in 2021, Solar Power, the New Zealand pop star is back to making electro-pop on the new Virgin.
Alison Krauss & Union Station
Alison Krauss will perform on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Met Philly. The bluegrass fiddler and vocalist, who has won 27 Grammys, released Arcadia, her first album with her band Union Station in 14 years, in early 2025. Willie Watson opens the show.
