OctoberFeast at Peddler’s Village Preludes Holiday Season

Peddler's Village in Lahaska, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will host its ninth annual OctoberFeast on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11 and 12. The event, which runs both days from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will offer live music, Bavarian foods, a beer garden, and fall activities such as axe-throwing and pumpkin painting. Admission is free; VIP packages include priority parking and dining benefits.

During OctoberFeast, the village will also hold its popular scarecrow competition with more than 200 handmade scarecrows created by local residents and organizations on display. Visitors can vote for their favorites until Oct. 13 via mobile app or paper ballot.

After OctoberFeast, Peddler's Village will host themed events such as an adults-only Deadly Silent Disco Party on Friday, Oct. 24; a Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding for kids on Saturday, Oct. 25; and a Trick-or-Treat in the Village event on Saturday, Oct. 26. The trick-or-treating event will include candy distribution at five locations within the village. A Halloween Happy Hour will be held at Hart's Tavern from Oct. 27-31, offering costume discounts on appetizers and drinks.

As the holiday season approaches, several festive events are scheduled, starting with the Apple Festival on Nov. 1-2. A Night with Mrs. Claus will be held on Nov. 7, followed by a Holiday Kickoff Weekend from Nov. 14-16. This event will feature a spectacular display of a million lights, along with a gingerbread competition. The deadline to enter the gingerbread competition is Nov. 5.

The Grand Illumination Celebration on Nov. 14 will officially usher in the holiday season.
