Philadelphia’s Historic District is getting a spooky makeover this October! On Sunday, October 19, 2024, families are invited to celebrate Halloween in the Historic District from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Blending history and hauntings, this unique seasonal event is perfect for kids and parents looking for a festive fall day in the city.

The fun begins at the Independence Visitor Center, where trick-or-treat bags and special maps will be handed out to guide your Halloween adventure. More than 40 museums, businesses, and attractions in Old City will be participating, each offering candy and themed activities. From ghostly tales to interactive programs, you’ll get to explore Philadelphia’s most iconic landmarks with a delightful spooky twist.

Organized in partnership with the Philadelphia Visitor Center, Independence Historical Trust, and Independence National Historical Park, this event transforms the Historic District into a family-friendly Halloween destination.
