The upcoming Good Food Fest on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kimberton Fairgrounds will celebrate local food, sustainable practices, and community engagement by bringing farmers, chefs, and supporters together for food sampling, demonstrations, and networking.

During the event, attendees can sample food offerings, learn from food demonstrations, and meet the people who aim to build stronger, healthier communities through food. More information about the event and tickets to attend are available on the Good Food Fest's website.

Growing Roots Partners, a Pennsylvania-based organization sponsoring the Good Food Fest with Kimberton Whole Foods, plays a central role in coordinating farmers markets and events that support sustainability, boost local economic impact, and create marketplaces for local food producers.

Part of the Good Food Fest's mission is to highlight the importance of shopping at local markets and the economic benefits they provide by supporting small farms and food entrepreneurs. Farmers markets across Chester County are important community food hubs that promote social interaction and support local economies. Additionally, they improve food access for people through programs like SNAP and VeggieBucks by reducing food insecurity and encouraging healthier food choices among families.

The Kimberton Fairgrounds are located on Route 113 west of Phoenixville. The Good Food Fest will take place in the barn, a large tented area, and two large pavilions. Plenty of on-site parking is available.
