Philly Flannel Fest is returning to Germantown's Braid Mill on Sunday, Nov. 2, from noon to 5 p.m. The afternoon will feature live music, local food, and family-friendly activities inside a historic former textile factory.

Last year's festival brought more than 1,500 attendees from across the region, creating a lively community atmosphere with food, music, and entertainment. Expanding on last year's offerings, the festival will include neighborhood food trucks, craft beers, and activities suitable for all ages, with entertainment both inside and outside.

Admission is pay-what-you-wish, with proceeds supporting future community events at Braid Mill. Guests can register via Eventbrite to reserve their entry. Food, drinks, and vendor items will be sold separately by local businesses participating in the festival.

Now in its third year, Philly Flannel Fest will highlight the growing community of artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations based at Braid Mill. This renovated 40,000-square-foot former textile factory at 346 E. Walnut Lane in Philadelphia reopened in 2023 following extensive renovations. It now features studios, coworking spaces, and event areas used by small businesses and community groups.

Philly Flannel Fest will take place rain or shine in the indoor and outdoor areas at the mill. All guests are encouraged to wear a flannel shirt, jacket, or coat. Event organizers hope to break last year's record for the largest gathering of people wearing flannel at a single event.
