Teasdale Foods, Inc. issued a recall on Saturday, Oct. 25, after mislabeled cocoa mix packets were found in taco dinner kits instead of taco seasoning.

People with a milk allergy or sensitivity risk a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the product. According to Teasdale Foods, the issue stems from a mix-up at a third-party supplier. No illnesses have been reported to date.

According to The Daily Voice of Pottstown, the products affected include the following:

  • Martin's and Giant Crunchy Taco Dinner Kit (purple box, UPC 68826757516, lot 25257, best by March 13, 2026)
  • Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kit (blue and yellow box, UPC 4099100318715, lot 25259, best by March 15, 2026)

The products were sold at Giant, Martin's, and Aldi stores in the following states and the District of Columbia:
