People's Light in Malvern will present a new staging of A Christmas Carol running from mid-November 2025 through early January 2026. 

Molly Rosa Houlahan directs the performance of this adaptation of the Christmas classic by Zak Berkman and original music and arrangements by Mitch Chakour. Company artist Ian Merrill Peakes stars as Scrooge in the performance.

A Christmas Carol will be performed on the Leonard C. Haas Stage.

According to MyChesCo, People's Light will offer Holiday Family Packages. These packages provide 15% savings for groups of eight or more. Complimentary fresh-baked cookies will be provided for every child in a group.

The holiday production will offer several accessibility features for audiences, including a Relaxed Performance on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m., along with ASL interpretation, audio description, and a pre-show sensory tour beginning at 1 p.m. From Dec. 30 through Jan. 4, 2026, open captioning will be available, and Smart Caption Glasses, which deliver captions directly on the lenses, will also be offered.

The program includes Tales with Tom on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. Admission is free with an RSVP. People's Light will also provide Access Dates for select performances: Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $30; no promo code is needed.
