The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art in Chadds Ford will celebrate the magic of the holiday season during "Holidays at Brandywine," running from Nov. 15, 2025, through Jan. 4, 2026.

According to MyChesCo, the centerpiece of "Holidays at Brandywine" is the Brandywine Railroad display featuring model trains, dollhouses, and trees adorned with handmade "Critter" ornaments crafted from natural materials by volunteers.

New this year, an exhibition titled "Home for the Holidays" will be featured in the Strawbridge Family Gallery. This exhibition explores hearth-based traditions and holiday card exchanges. It will feature two rooms from a nine-foot Ann Wyeth McCoy dollhouse and original Wyeth family paintings, as well as a Peters-Herdeg dollhouse, a replica of an 18th-century Brandywine Valley home.

Visitors to the museum will also encounter "From Mailbox to Museum," highlighting original holiday card designs by Wyeth family members and other renowned American illustrators. These items are drawn from the Brandywine Museum of Art and Wyeth Foundation for American Art collections.

In addition to these exhibitions, additional experiences will include the following:

  • Sensory-Friendly Access Hours: Thursday, Nov. 20, and Friday, Jan. 2, from 5–7 p.m.
  • Breakfast with the Trains: Sunday, Nov. 23; Saturday, Dec. 20; and Saturday, Jan. 3, from 8:30 a.m.–10 a.m.
  • Holiday Critter Sale: Thursday, Nov. 20–Sunday, Nov. 23 (Member preview on Wednesday, Nov. 19)
  • The Polar Express Read-Aloud Pajama Night: Wednesday, Dec. 3, and Friday, Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m.–8 p.m.
