NBC Sports Philadelphia to Broadcast Big 5 Classic

NBC Sports Philadelphia has announced it will broadcast the Toyota Men's Big 5 Classic college basketball tripleheader at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday, Dec. 6. 

All three matchups of the event, including the championship game, will be presented on NBC Sports Philadelphia at 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., respectively (times are subject to change).

The Big 5 Classic on NBC Sports Philadelphia will determine the champion from six Philadelphia-area schools — Drexel, La Salle, Penn, Saint Joseph's, Temple, and Villanova — in a new three-game format to crown a champion.

According to Drexel University, the event's broadcast team will feature Matt Martucci on play-by-play, Dr. John Giannini as color analyst, and Amy Fadool on the sideline. Pre- and post-game shows will be hosted by Danny Pommells for Games 1 and 2 alongside Jim Lynam and Marc Jackson from the network's 76ers studio team.
