Love & Honey Fried Chicken has expanded to Bucks County with its first franchise location in Newtown. The establishment is known for its hand-dredged, buttermilk fried chicken cooked in small batches without freezing or pre-processing and finished with honey for a signature taste.

Founded by Culinary Institute of America-trained chefs Todd and Laura Lyons, Love & Honey Fried Chicken has become a neighborhood favorite since the business opened its first location in Northern Liberties in 2017.

According to a company news release, the Newtown restaurant is owned and operated by local franchisees Kanay Patel, Dev Patel, and Kush Amin, marking the brand's first franchised outlet.

“Our goal has always been to create a place where great food and genuine hospitality come together,” said co-founder Laura Lyons in the media release. “We take pride in every detail — from the chicken to the service — and we're thrilled to have Kanay, Dev, and Kush carrying that same vision forward in Newtown.”

In addition to its famous Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches, the restaurant also prepares chicken wings, tater tots, and banana pudding, available for dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering to offices, schools, hospitals, and events.

To celebrate football season, the Newtown location is offering a Game Day Deal. Customers can receive a free large box of crispy tater tots with every Double Tenders order on Philadelphia Eagles game days when using code FREETOTS online or in-store.

Love & Honey Fried Chicken is located at 2820 S. Eagle Road in Newtown. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Learn more by visiting the official website.
