If you're getting your holiday shopping started over the Thanksgiving weekend, here's what you should know about operating hours for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, and Black Friday, Nov. 28, at Philadelphia-area malls and shopping centers.
King of Prussia Mall
The King of Prussia Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving and will open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
Shops at Liberty Place
According to the website for The Shops at Liberty Place, located in Center City, the downtown shopping center will close for Thanksgiving and reopen at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
Other Philadelphia-Area Shopping Centers
Other major malls in the Philadelphia area — including Fashion District Philadelphia, Franklin Mall, and Philadelphia Premium Outlets — will open at 6 a.m. or 8 a.m. on Black Friday. Visit their websites (linked above) to verify times.
The Oxford Valley Mall and Neshaminy Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving, but both will be open on Black Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Montgomery Mall reports Black Friday hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the Willow Grove Park Mall opens its doors at 7 a.m. on Friday, according to Newsbreak.
What About Major Retailers?
Most major retailers and warehouse shopping clubs — including BJ's, Costco, Sam's Club, Target, and Walmart — will be closed on Thanksgiving and will open early for Black Friday shopping, according to Delaware Online.
