The Atlantic City alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, in partnership with GreenLife Energy Solutions, will continue its annual Thanksgiving distribution by giving away free turkeys and hams to Atlantic County residents.

The giveaway is set for Saturday, Nov. 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Pleasantville City Hall at 18 N. First St. in Pleasantville.

Residents must be at least 18 years old with identification showing they reside in Atlantic County. Those in need are asked not to arrive before 1 p.m. Only one ham or turkey per person and per household will be distributed.

According to BreakingAC, the Kappa Alpha Psi initiative has a history of large turnout. Last year, the line of people stretched around the corner as people sought main dishes for their holiday meals. In 2024, the program distributed nearly 400 turkeys and hams to those in need.

Sponsors for the event include Dr. Jon Regis, Neil Law, ABC Therapy Services, Corporate Employee Benefits, The Malamut Mortgage Team, and BreakingAC. Brothers Joey Gaynor and James Pressley lead the event, and Ed Ryan from GreenLife Energy Solutions coordinates the distribution efforts.
