WorldAtlas Highlights 6 New Jersey Towns

WorldAtlas recently highlighted several towns in New Jersey that it believes personify the character of the Garden State.

Frenchtown, in Hunterdon County, stands out for its 19th-century architectural streetscape and more than 400 buildings on the NRHP, framing a historic, walkable town along the river.

Lambertville in Hunterdon County is praised for outdoor recreation, arts, culture, and a range of regional activities that complement its riverside charm.

Princeton in Mercer County is portrayed as a historic college town centered on an Ivy League campus, with landmarks including Westland Mansion, Trinity Church, and Tusculum Estate. Cultural sites include the Princeton University Art Museum and Morven Museum & Garden.

Princeton's identity blends a historic downtown with university landmarks and battlefield history, underscoring a small-city feel balanced by scholarly heritage.

Spring Lake in Monmouth County is recommended as an ideal Jersey Shore visit for first-time travelers, thanks to its milder winters, warm summers, and compact, appealing coastal vibe.
