A Christmas parade led by Santa and his helpers will roll through North Wildwood on Friday evening, Dec. 5, starting at 6 p.m. It will travel from 16th Avenue south along Central and Pacific avenues to Byrne Plaza, where floats will be judged and awards announced around 7:30 p.m. A tree lighting ceremony will follow the parade.

Parade registration is open through WildwoodHoliday.com, with a rain date set for Sunday, Dec. 7, starting at 5 p.m.

Following the parade, the Greater Wildwood Jaycees will host a Christmas in the Plaza Festival at Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave., featuring free carnival rides, vendors, live music, and activities.

The parade and festival will run from Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
