A Christmas Story The Musical is being staged at Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. The production's run began on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and it will continue through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
A Christmas Story The Musical is described as a holiday favorite with funny and heartfelt songs, vibrant dancing, and a heart of gold at its core. The musical follows the story of a boy named Ralphie who longs for a Red Ryder BB Gun.
Throughout the performance, audience members will witness beloved elements from the motion picture holiday classic, including the leg lamp, pink bunny pajamas, dogs stealing a turkey, a cranky department store Santa, and a dare to lick a freezing flagpole.
A special "Kids Night at The Walnut" will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. One child (17 and younger) gets in free with the purchase of one adult ticket.
