Yards Brewing Co. in Philadelphia is turning its Northern Liberties taproom into a festive holiday hub through Dec. 31. During the holiday season, the brewing company will feature new beer releases, food offerings, family-friendly events, and sports and community gatherings.
The Home for the Holidays series brings back Long Jawns Winter Lager, debuts two new beers, and features a broad array of seasonal cocktails and dishes. Long Jawns Winter Lager, a dark and malty 6% ABV brew, is back on draft and available in bottles and cans throughout the region.
Seasonal menus will showcase dishes such as Gobbler Croquettes, beer-braised beef stew, and sweet treats, complemented by holiday cocktails and mocktails like the Cider Bourbon Sour and Pomegranate Lemon Drop.
According to MyChesCo, on Saturday, Dec. 13, the brewery will host a Pajama Party with Santa. During the event, young guests can take photos with Santa. Gifts for children younger than 10 will be available, and drink specials will be offered to guests who arrive in pajamas (adults only). The event will also include a toy drive benefiting Cradles to Crayons.
Movember returns with proceeds from $1 per pint supporting men's health, alongside the release of a new year-round Philthy Hazy IPA and a nonalcoholic Philthy Zero.
During December, Yards Brewing will hold Premier League and NFL watch parties, a Philly Sports Day triple-header, a 2025 Year in Review Trivia Night with big prizes, and a New Year's Eve Fireworks Pre-Game Party with glow sticks and kid-friendly hot chocolate.
From Christmas to New Year's, the taproom will host Fill the Map, an interactive display where visitors pin their hometowns to show how far they traveled to celebrate the holidays at Yards.
The Yards Brewing Co. Northern Liberties taproom is at 500 Spring Garden St. in Philadelphia. It is open Monday through Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
