Newtown to Host Free Hanukkah Winter Wonderland

A Community Hanukkah Winter Wonderland is set for Sunday, Dec. 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Congregation Brothers of Israel, 530 Washington Crossing Road in Newtown. 

Activities include indoor skating, a giant indoor snowball fight, Hanukkah crafts, karaoke, hot cocoa, snacks, and Hanukkah gift shopping. According to Patch of Newtown, the highlight of the event will be an ice dance routine by Anna Wough and Matt Jacoby, who placed fifth at the U.S. Ice Dance Finals and earned a spot at the U.S. Championships.

Admission is free; however, a $10 charge will be collected for unlimited ice skating from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Skate rentals will be available if needed.
