Opera Philadelphia staged a holiday concert titled "Home for the Holidays" in the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The concert featured the Opera Philadelphia vocalists, special dances, and a grand Wanamaker Light Show finale.

"This is my first Christmas performance of the season. It just kind of gets me in the spirit, and I loved having the family here," said Madison Day, a violinist, in a statement shared with 6abc.

"The show was outstanding. We enjoyed every bit of it," Bob Davis of Fairmount told 6abc. "The singers, the dancers, the lights: It was just great being here."

"It's so hard in the times we live in to just find ways to connect, to be together, to feel like we're together," said Anthony Roth Costanzo, the opera's general director and president, in a statement shared with 6abc, "and that's what I think art and music can do."
