The fourth annual Passyunk Avenue Hot Chocolate Crawl will take place along East Passyunk Avenue in Philadelphia on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 15 dining establishments, cafés, bars, and dessert shops will offer hot chocolates ranging from $3 to $8, including classic, premium, boozy, and ice cream-infused varieties.

Attendees can purchase a $12 ticket that includes a souvenir mug and access to event-only pricing.

According to MyChesCo, participants include Milk Jawn, P'unk Burger, Pistolas Del Sur, Ground Up Café, and Juana Tamale. These restaurants will offer hot chocolate options ranging from Nutella chocolate to tequila-infused Mexican cocoa.

Complementary holiday programming includes the Nice Things Handmade's 15th Annual Ornament Show and the Miracle on South 13th Street light display. In addition, live entertainment will be provided by performers from the East Passyunk Opera Project throughout the day. Retailers along the East Passyunk Avenue corridor will also hold discounts, samples, giveaways, and holiday-themed experiences as part of the Hot Chocolate Crawl.

This event is organized by Capri Dessecker and Elissa Kara of Nice Things Handmade, with support from RE/MAX One Realty, Milk Jawn, CENTURY 21 Forrester Real Estate, Ground Up Café, DaVinci & Yu, and other community partners. Dessecker and Kara said that the event has increased in popularity since launching in 2022. It routinely sells out and attracts families, neighbors, and visitors to the Passyunk Avenue retail district.

Additional details and ticket information are available on the official event webpage.
