Camden Community Partnership will host the first Winter Wonderland Festival at Roosevelt Plaza Park on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Brass quartet performances will play throughout the park during the three-hour event. Kids can meet Olaf and the Grinch while sipping hot chocolate and munching cookies.

The holiday carousel costs nothing to ride. Mini trackless trains will loop around for families. A gingerbread inflatable obstacle waits for children. Face painters will set up shop, and a Metro PD game truck will park on site.

Food trucks will serve meals. Groups from around town will run activity stations and displays at 520 Market Street. Holiday items will be for sale, including downtown ornaments that guests can purchase.

The organization behind this event has worked to preserve and grow the city since 1984. Back then, it was called Cooper's Ferry Development Association. For more than forty years, this group has pushed redevelopment projects forward.

Between 1984 and 2000, the organization zeroed in on the Downtown Waterfront. They brought in over $600 million from public and private sources. The waterfront transformed into a tourist spot that now draws over three million visitors each year.

Partners for the festival include the City of Camden, Connect the Lots Camden, Reimagining the Civic Commons, Subaru, Subaru of America Foundation, Rutgers Camden, Camden County Police, Camden County, and the Downtown Camden Special Services District.
