The Philadelphia dining forecast for 2026 is expected to lean toward seafood-centric concepts, elevated beverage-led dining experiences, and a bakery-driven all-day culture. That's according to the predictions issued by the website Infatuation.

The renewed interest in seafood continues, with raw bars, oysters, and crudo becoming everyday menu items across the city. Venues include the date-night spot Jaffa Bar in Kensington, River Twice's sister establishment Little Water, Tesiny, Sao, and Oyster House, expanding even to the Philadelphia Airport.

The drinks-as-meals trend intensifies, featuring cocktails with food components — lamb fat and butternut squash, mozzarella-brined mini martinis, and Mexican-inspired cocktail elements — hinting at bolder, grocery-list ingredient combinations. Places to go include Emmett in Fishtown, Borromini in Rittenhouse, Amá, and La Jefa.

Bakery dominance grows, with bakeries adding café-like elements such as Wi‑Fi and seating, and spots like Majdal Bakery, The Bread Room in Center City, Dreamworld Bakes, the Seaforest Bakeshop in Graduate Hospital, Rougarou, and Schmaltz in Point Breeze.
