According to the Philadelphia Eagles website, applicants should prepare a short dance routine as shown on the Eagles' site, film themselves performing it along with a brief personal introduction, and submit the video along with a completed application.

The Philadelphia Eagles ask cheerleader candidates to adhere to the following video recording guidelines:

  • At the start of the video, individuals need to supply a brief introduction (length should be equivalent to two to three sentences) that establishes facts about themselves that they think would be relevant for the Eagles to know.
  • Individuals are asked to use a song of their choice to perform the dance routine.
  • Candidates should perform the dance routine facing the camera, not facing a mirror.

Applicants will be evaluated on professional presentation, dance execution and technique, retention of choreography, and showmanship.

Before submitting their video audition and application, cheerleader candidates should review the job description for more details on the position's expectations.
