Penn Museum to Host 45th Annual CultureFest!

The Penn Museum, at 3260 South St. in Philadelphia, will host the 45th annual CultureFest!, celebrating the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse, on Saturday, Jan. 31.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers a full day of performances and activities across the museum and outdoor spaces, culminating in a traditional Lion Dance finale.

According to PhillyVoice, programming includes dance performances, storytelling, art-making, Tai Chi demonstrations, educational workshops, and a vendor marketplace, all included with museum admission.

Scheduled event highlights feature a “Dotting the Eye” ceremony and welcome remarks at 11 a.m., followed by dance performances at 11:30 a.m., and a Lion Dance finale at 3:50 p.m.
