Planet Fitness Opens Berwyn Location With New Membership Deal

Planet Fitness has opened a new Berwyn club operated by National Fitness Partners at 270 Swedesford Road. It is offering a limited-time, low-cost introductory pricing plan: $1 down with $15 per month for a PF Classic Card, or $1 down with $24.99 per month for a PF Black Card, through Feb. 16.

PF Black Card members receive several benefits, including access to the Black Card Spa with HydroMassage loungers and massage chairs, and tanning beds. The PF Black Club membership also lets individuals access more than 2,800 Planet Fitness locations nationwide.

All Planet Fitness memberships include in-club fitness training and access to the Planet Fitness mobile app with on-demand workouts.

The new Berwyn facility is equipped with extensive strength and cardio gear, free certified trainer guidance, a functional training room, a HIIT area with air bikes and rowers, and a mobility and stretching space.

Operating hours are from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.

Brad Wentzel, National Fitness Partners' senior VP of operations, told MyChesCo that the Berwyn club is welcoming to members of all experience levels who want to get in shape and build a lifetime habit of healthy fitness.

According to a MyChesCo report, Planet Fitness Berwyn made a $1,000 donation to Philabundance, a regional food bank serving southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
