Registration is now open for the 2026 Pennsylvania State Police Troop L Camp Cadet Program.
The overnight summer camp runs from June 21 to June 27 at Camp Manatawny, 33 Camp Road, in Douglassville, Berks County. Participation is available for both boys and girls ages 12 to 15, with the first 100 registrants securing a guaranteed spot.

According to Berks Weekly, camp participants are introduced to life at a police academy and the broader criminal justice system, with an emphasis on teamwork, honesty, integrity, discipline, and self-esteem.
During the camp, cadets will hear presentations from multiple law enforcement agencies and engage in activities that develop decision-making skills and present policing as a career.
