The Bucks County Middle School Art Contest has issued a call for middle school student artists to participate in the upcoming second annual contest. 

This year, students are invited to choose any art medium and use their imagination to create a piece of real estate-related artwork. The registration deadline to participate is Friday, Jan. 30, with all art submissions due by Friday, Feb. 27.

Prizes include a first-place $500 scholarship from Opus Elite Real Estate and a $200 gift card to Penelope Fox Art Studio, plus a display of the winning piece at Countryside Gallery & Custom Framing Design in Newtown for a month. The second-place winners will receive a $200 scholaship from Opus Elite Real Estate, plus a $100 gift card to Penelope Fox Art Studio. A third-place winner will receive a $100 scholarship from Opus Elite Real Estate, plus a $50 gift card to Penelope Fox Art Studio.

Artwork will be displayed at Opus Elite Real Estate, 301 Mill St. in Bristol, on March 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and at the Opus Elite Real Estate corporate office at 16 S. State Street in Newtown on March 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Dropoff locations are the Opus Elite Real Estate offices in Newtown and Bristol, or Countryside Gallery & Custom Framing Design in Newtown.
