What To Do in Ocean City This Winter and Spring

We're in the thick of winter now, but soon thoughts will turn to warmer days, sunny skies, and plenty of things to do outdoors. In the meantime, Ocean City, New Jersey, has a robust slate of activities to pass the winter and spring days as you await the arrival of summer.

The Winter Warrior Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Ocean City Civic Center features a children's obstacle course, an adult obstacle course, and a fire-truck pull. Registration is available online. 

On Valentine's Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m., the community is invited to enjoy a Broadway-style Love Songs showcase by the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company at the Ocean City Music Pier. Tickets for the show remain on sale on the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company website.

Market Madness on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, will bring together all of Ocean City's favorite stores under one roof at the Ocean City Civic Center for two days of pre-season shopping specials.

Easter-related activities begin with The Great Egg Hunts on March 28 and April 4 with Easter egg prizes distributed by Boardwalk stores.

An Easter Dueling Pianos Show will take place on Sunday, April 5, outside the Music Pier. 

The spring calendar continues with Girls Weekend from Friday, April 10, to Sunday, April 12, and the OC Con Comic Book and Memorabilia Show on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12. Artist registration is open at ocnjcon.com.

The Sports Memorabilia Show resumes as a two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, at the Music Pier. Announcements about this year's special guests are forthcoming. Vendor registration is open online.

The Ocean City Skate Park hosts the all-girls Chica De Mayo skateboard party on Sunday, May 17. The spring season will conclude with the Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge, the traditional start to the summer season, which will take place on Friday, May 22.
