Mural Arts Philadelphia is seeking an artist or artist team to design a mural honoring Boyz II Men, the hometown Philadelphia quartet known for its four GRAMMY wins. The mural project aligns with Philadelphia's America 250 anniversary celebrations and the city's cultural initiatives.

According to CBS Philadelphia, the lead artist will be paid a total fee of $20,000, with additional funding possible for assistants, equipment, and materials. The mural will span approximately 2,000 square feet and will be located at 1122 S. Broad St. in South Philadelphia, near Washington Avenue.

The call for proposals closes on Friday, Feb. 13, with a dedication ceremony planned for June.

Boyz II Men, known for hits such as "Motownphilly" and "End of the Road," is celebrated by Mural Arts Philadelphia and others for its musical and cultural contributions. Their honors include membership in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, the R&B Music Hall of Fame, and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star earned in 2012.

Boyz II Men are currently touring with New Edition Way and Toni Braxton on the New Edition Way Tour and will perform at Philadelphia's Liacouras Center on Sunday, March 15.
