Major League Wrestling (MLW) has announced its return to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia for two nights in June to celebrate its 24th anniversary. In connection with the event, MLW will film a national TV taping of MLW Fusion and showcase Summer of the Beasts on June 12 and 13.

“MLW's roots in the City of Brotherly Love run deep, dating back more than two decades to the company's debut event, Genesis, in June 2002 at the 2300 Arena,” the promotion announced in a statement.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. Eastern, with prices starting at $15. Tickets can be purchased at MLW2300.com.

Scheduled appearances include MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross, Featherweight Champion Shotzi Blackheart, former world champion Matt Riddle, and the CONTRA Unit group. Don Gato is also slated for a special appearance as MLW expands its collaboration with Don Gato Tequila for the live events.

According to Wrestle Zone, recent title developments include Shotzi Blackheart winning the MLW World Women's Featherweight Championship and Austin Aries capturing the National Openweight Championship against Blue Panther.
