The Philadelphia Union have announced several new additions and fan-focused enhancements to Subaru Park ahead of the 2026 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. These enhancements will debut when the Philadelphia Union hosts the New York City FC during the MLS Home Opener on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 4:30 p.m.

According to a Philadelphia Union news release, Subaru Park will feature a multimillion-dollar theatrical lighting system to enhance player introductions, goal celebrations, and key moments. These upgrades follow a prior speaker system upgrade at Subaru Park.

Food and beverage options will expand this year under Aramark. The food services provider will add Primo Hoagies Turkey Diablo and Italian Diablo, PJ Whelihan's OG Smashburger and Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Hatfield Union Match Day Chili and Loaded Chili Footlong Dog, and Copper Bonnet Distillery craft gin cocktails at the Grab & Go and Patrón Bar locations in Sections 103 and 114, as well as at a branded beverage cart at Section 112.

The Union Shop will expand with the new “1776” primary kit and a wider range of apparel and souvenirs, including the Phang Souvenir Ice Cream Cup and the Souvenir Soccer Ball Cocktail.

In addition to these enhancements, the Philadelphia Union announced that SeatGeek will become the team's official ticketing partner. With that announcement comes the introduction of the SeatGeek Ticket Office, a Standing Room Only area above Section 114, and the SeatGeek Seat Upgrade promotion to move fans into available East Side field seats. Subaru Park will also introduce Evolv security-scanning technology at stadium gates to provide a more efficient, streamlined entry process for fans.

Finally, the Philadelphia Union app, powered by Theta Network, will offer mobile ticketing, exclusive content, live match updates, and other features to boost digital fan engagement.
