The SEPTA Key app has been updated to version 3.2.10, bringing a series of improvements to the rider experience on both iOS and Android devices. The update is rolling out now, with automatic updates available for users who have that setting enabled.

Schedule pages have been redesigned to let riders view schedules for individual Bus, Trolley, and Direct services separately, mirroring the layout of the SEPTA website. High-priority service alerts are now more prominent on schedule pages, reducing the number of clicks needed to view disruptions. Page headers on select pages will also collapse as you scroll, giving riders more screen space for route details.

The trip planner has been updated with clearer instructions for navigating Center City, including guidance for riders who need to stay on a train through Center City when continuing on a different line. The update also improves mobile navigation overall and provides clearer instructions throughout the app to prioritize faster access to critical information.

The SEPTA Key Tix mobile tickets were retired on March 2, following reduced demand after the launch of contactless payments. Riders with remaining Key Tix balances have 180 days from the date of purchase to use existing tickets before they expire.
