The School District of Philadelphia has launched its 2026 Summer Programs website. Families are invited to explore the complete range of offerings and programs online.

According to a March 16 letter from Superintendent Dr. Tony B. Watlington Sr., the programs cater to students of all ages. These experiences include enrichment-based learning, summer employment for high schoolers, a new Arts/Dance program, and an ongoing Career and Technical Education Summer Camp.

All current district students, including new students entering kindergarten this year, are eligible, though seats are limited and program details vary by offering.

Registration opens April 6 and runs on a rolling basis until programs fill. Some offerings may be invite-only and not open to general registration. Families and students will be notified about their enrollment status by mid-June.

The district is also partnering with the City of Philadelphia's Office of Children and Families to offer the Summer Achievers program, further expanding educational opportunities for participating students.
