Bucks County offers a diverse range of self-guided and guided tours showcasing historic sites, scenic views, and architecture dating to the 1700s.
Notable historic homes to visit include the John Chapman House, John Lacey Homestead, Liberty Hall Quakertown, and the Penn-Walton Homestead. Several properties are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

According to BUCKSCO.TODAY, a premier route to traverse is the scenic River Road. This 40-mile stretch of roadway runs from Bristol to Lumberville. It offers Delaware River vistas, dining by the river, boutiques, historic inns, and outdoor activities such as picnicking at Tinicum Park, canoeing and tubing on the river, and hiking at Ringing Rocks Park.
The area preserves 12 remaining covered bridges that visitors can explore on self-guided tours. Bridges located in Tyler State Park and Lenape Park offer prime photography spots.
