Clover Market is returning to Chestnut Hill for its 17th season on Sunday, April 12. It will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. along West Highland Avenue, from Germantown Avenue into the Turquoise parking lot at 25 W. Highland Ave.
The open-air market features about 90 vendors offering handmade goods and vintage finds from independent makers and small businesses. Regional food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities will also be part of the opening event festivities.
Local Story: Spring into Exploring the Brandywine Valley
“After a record-breaking application cycle earlier this year, we're thrilled to welcome 340 curated vendors across our eight outdoor markets, including 65 talented vendors joining us for the first time,” said market founder Janet Long in a news release. “The new vendors are a diverse and talented mix joining us from the greater Philadelphia area to Vermont, Baltimore, New York, New Jersey, and everything in between.”
According to PhillyVoice, opening day activities will feature vendors such as Bonjour Creperie, Korea Taqueria, Mom Mom's, Redstone Pizza, Mr. Big Stuff Cookie Co., and Many Hands Coffee. Wayside Shakeup will present live music from noon to 3 p.m., with free kids' crafts and face painting available.
The market is open to the public, and guests are welcome to bring dogs on leashes. Visitors are also encouraged to explore nearby Chestnut Hill shops and restaurants. Parking is available in street lots and Parking Foundation lots.
Over the years, Clover Market has earned several accolades, including “Best of Philly” and “Best of the Main Line” recognitions.
In addition to the Chestnut Hill location, open-air markets will be held on April 26 in Collingswood, May 17 in Bryn Mawr, and June 7 in Kennett Square, each featuring 90 to 100 vendors and food trucks.
