Beach fees for 2026 summer visits at the Jersey Shore span from no charge to $150 when buying season passes. Most towns give breaks if you buy early. Seniors and kids pay less. Six beaches never charge. Others ask $6 to $15 per day.

According to The Patch, Atlantic City, North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, Strathmere, and Sandy Hook let visitors in without paying. Island Beach State Park wants $6 from state residents on weekdays and $10 on weekends.

Shore towns open beaches Memorial Day weekend. Lifeguards work weekends until mid-June. Once schools close, daily operations start. You can't swim when lifeguards aren't there — rip currents make it dangerous.

Season passes begin at $10 in Ventnor and Margate if purchased through May 31, jumping to $20 after June 1. Loch Arbour asks the steepest price at $150 for adults. Point Pleasant Beach spots want $130 to $145 for season access.

Daily costs shift depending on where you go and which day you visit. Long Branch asks $6 on weekdays, $9 on weekends for adults. Sea Isle City lets everyone in free every Wednesday all season.

Early-bird deals pop up across towns. Barnegat Light sells season passes for $40 through June 5, then bumps it to $50. Beach Haven charges $40 for season badges until May 31, rising to $50 on June 1.

Kids 12 and under get in free at most spots. Seniors 65 and older pay reduced amounts or nothing at many towns. Brigantine hands out free season tags to those 65 and up. Ventnor charges seniors just $3.50.

Active-duty military members and veterans receive free or reduced access at most spots with proper ID. Many towns give the same break to military spouses and dependent children.

Parking costs pile on top of beach admission. Sandy Hook charges $20 per car each day or $100 for a season pass. Long Branch municipal lots cost $10 per day.

You can buy season passes online at most spots or at municipal buildings and beach offices. Daily badges get sold at entrance points. Towns take different payments — some want only credit cards while others accept cash or checks.
