Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase To Fund Scholarships for Area Students

Put your appetite to work for a good cause during the May 12 Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase. The 27th annual event will feature a casual, walk-around tasting of dishes from multiple local vendors. Items will include a mix of savory specialties and desserts that reflect the area's diverse dining scene. 

Hosted by the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce, the Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Blue Water Grille inside the Bolero Resort & Conference Center on Atlantic Avenue.

According to a Shore News Network report, tickets are $40 per person and include a pasta buffet before the main tasting. Advance tickets are available through the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce, with additional tickets sold at the door. Organizers encourage early ticket purchases due to the event's popularity and limited capacity at the event site.

Proceeds from the event fund scholarships for local high school students through the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The showcase is organized by the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce and supported by regional tourism entities, including the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, as part of a broader plan to help boost early-season tourism and support local businesses.
