Take heed if you're heading in the direction of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex over the next several days. The Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers will host two games a day for four days straight starting today, Thursday, May 7. Major traffic congestion is expected.

The games come amid the construction-related closure of the entrance ramp to I-95 North and the exit ramp from I-95 South on Front Street. Unfortunately for sports fans traveling to the Phillies or Flyers games today, the ramps will remain closed on Thursday, said PennDOT spokesperson Brad Rudolph.

Beginning Friday morning, May 8, the ramps will reopen to one lane of traffic and remain open through Sunday to help ease traffic issues caused by the scheduled games. When Monday morning arrives, the ramps will close again as PennDOT work continues, with repairs estimated to be completed by May 21, according to Rudolph.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that, when the ramps are closed, drivers who need to reach I-95 North will be directed to use Oregon Avenue and turn left onto Columbus Boulevard. Drivers can exit I-95 South at Exit 17 at Broad Street or Exit 20 at Columbus Boulevard and Washington Avenue.

SEPTA plans to operate additional Sports Express service subway trains on the Broad Street Line during all scheduled games. While details were still being confirmed, SEPTA spokesperson Andrew Busch said the transit agency generally runs several extra pregame and postgame trains to support additional travelers.

Known as the B2, the Sports Express train leaves from Fern Rock Transit Center and makes select stops until Walnut-Locust Station. At that point, the train heads directly to the NRG Station at the sports complex.

Here's a look at the Sports Complex schedule during the next four days:
